Welcome to the shitpost bubble.
For clarification I'm not a furry, I'm a cat :blobCat_evil:
I can be your guide to the shitposts of the fediverse.

Note: I'll gladly take corrections (typo, factual, missing content-warnings or alt-text, etc.) for any of my posts, so if you see something feel free to tell me. Same applies if I offended you somehow, please tell me so I can learn from that mistake. Thank you.

In general I'm very low energy and exhausted.
I identify as gendervoid* :agender_flag: and demi :demisexual_flag: and it feels like well over ¾ of my entire bubble are trans :blahaj_holding_trans_flag: so posts are likely to be gay shitposts or tech stuff (networking and sysadmin mostly).
If you know me in real life then beware that following me is not just a matter of "hey I know that person".
I am going to dump tons and tons of semi-low quality posts in your timeline and there's nothing you can do about it.

*: 64-bit pun pointer

If you intend to follow me, here are a few things to do before hitting that button: 1) have a profile, which means a bio, a profile image, and at least one public post, you will be rejected otherwise, 2) mind your instance: big instances will be rejected, instances limited by the local moderation team will be rejected, just make sure you don't share a platform with fascists, a bad moderation team, or more than a thousand people, that should do the trick, 3) don't expect me to follow back, I tailor my timeline to my interests that means even if you're a friend, I won't follow you if I'm not interested in your feed, 4) followers-only content in my case is mostly mental-health stuff that I don't want to be publicly visible, if you don't want to hear that, don't follow.

Now let's have a talk about content warnings.
If your post could be considered harmful, whether you're posting nudes, pictures of food, or politics, use content warnings.
For instance nudes are problematic for minors, so use appropriate content warnings (at least nsfw, nudity, or lewd, plus an actual description of what to expect), not just hashtags.
Pictures of food may be harmful for people with eating disorders, use content warnings.
Politics most of the time are either annoying to people who are not affected by them (US politics aren't the only politics you know?), and for a lot of people detrimental to mental health, use both "politics" and "[two letter region code]pol" in your content warnings so other people can filter properly.
The guiding principle is consent: if the post contains something I may not be in the right mindset to read or see right now then you should label it in a way that I can bookmark and skip it and read it later when I am in the right mindset.
If you can't be bothered to do that, get blocked.

If your instance supports emote reactions, yay, this one does too :3

Post-visibility and following:

I usually post public, you're free to boost/share/whatever (avoid screenshots for accessibility).
When I post unlisted it's probably to avoid it showing up in the federated timeline because I don't want to bother anyone, you're free to boost/share/whatever.
Followers-only posts are usually just to avoid them being publicly accessible, don't go around sharing them with people that could abuse them, if in doubt don't share them.
Lastly DMs; just don't share them unless you specifically got permission from *everyone* involved. Thanks.

Dragonfox Sophie :therian: @littlefox@gotosocial-dev.svc.0x0a.network

Building clouds, crashing servers, writing my own OS and tinkering with electronics. I'm also quite (species-, gender-, sexuality- and neuro-)queer and go by either she/her or they/them (both singular and plural!) pronouns.

Apparently an old and wise dragon, granting wisdom and advice around queer and/or polyam topics. Quoting a friend:

This is like "can you fix my wifi" but for poly queers hahahahha

Someone decided it be a good idea to make me tech lead for Kubernetes stuff at my employer and I somehow have commits in Kubernetes and UEFI, while also having commit access to LLVM - I'm really not quite sure how that happened 🙃

I usually write alt texts for media I post and at least think twice before boosting any non-alt-texted media.

You might know my other account at @LittleFox, but that is mastosoc and I don't really use it anymore. Because I'm running a single-user instance (that btw was never meant to be my "productive" instance), you might not see any posts from me without going to my profile on my instance directly - federation is always working perfectly, except when it isn't for any weird edge case ^^

Call me Mara, Sophie, Luna or Saphira! Or find any of the bonus names also working :o)
